AMBOSELI NATIONAL PARK
PARK OVERVIEW
Introduction
Amboseli National Park is the second most famous National Park in Kenya after Masai Mara National Reserve. This park is found just next to the famous Mt. Kilimanjaro on a savanna grasslands covering more than 400 kilometers square.
Wildlife
Elephants, Lions, Buffalos, Leopards, Lesser Kudu, Hyrax, Dik Dik, Giraffes, Zebras, Antelopes, nocturnal Porcupines, Wild Dogs and also more than 600 species of birds
Access
You can access Amboseli National Park through Namanga Road from Nairobi (240 kilometers) or from Emali (Mombasa Road) about 60 kilometers to the main gate
Climate
Temperature ranges from 20 to 30 degrees celcius.
